Our group of performers are situated on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) and primarily perform for venues along the coastline such as night markets, hotels, restaurants, estates and even private hire for birthday parties or general entertainment for braais’ or happy hour.

Sweetdale Night Market<\/b><\/p>


<\/b>The Sweetdale Night Market is a once a month market that is open to the public as a free-entry night out to shop from local crafters, local businesses and food and clothing vendors every last Friday of the month from 18:00-22:00.From antique and collectable items to books, vinyls, food, deserts, food, drinks and so much more.<\/p>

The Fire Performers SA Team has decided to become a permanent part of the Sweetdale Night Market on the South Coast. We perform every half hour from the first performance beginning at 18:00 until 21:30 being the last performance.<\/p>

The team decided to go out one night in late 2024 and stumbled upon Sweetdale, after we had a lovely discussion with the organizers of Sweetdale we were invited to perform there and super nervous our first time – but when we showed up, the night out turned into a memorable one and after that the rest is history.<\/p>

The goal of our team attending Sweetdale is to both encourage and support this south coast special local gem of a night market that is only once a month, a lovely time out with friends, family and to relax after successfully overcoming another month and spending it with those that matter most to you, while doing what we love for our community, proudly local.<\/p>

Community Practice Sessions\u00a0– South Coast Beaches – Uvongo<\/b><\/p>


<\/b>The aim of our practice sessions at Uvongo Beach is to give back to our local community and get people involved in a healthy alternative form of meditation, focus and discipline through flow arts – fire performance.<\/span>

The practice sessions bring members of our team together after a long work week, usually on the first two Friday’s of the month and we provide community lessons and coach individuals who are interested in what we do with the basics of fire tool manipulation.<\/span>

We aim to increase the exposure of our local gathering on Uvongo Beach and give more back to our community with these practice sessions, not only is Flow Arts a healthy and relaxing activity but it is also proven to help with hand and eye-coordination!<\/span>

While giving out these free community lessons, we are also presently open to recruitment of individuals who are interested, committed and disciplined to learn the art.<\/span><\/p>

The Margate is Magic Mardi Gras project\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>

The Margate is Magic Mardi Gras project is a wonderful initiative by our local community and we are glad to be a part of it. The Mardi Gra is a night market during peak-season times in Margate Beach. The event brings locals and holiday-makers alike together to experience a fun and eventful evening.<\/span><\/p>

From local vendors on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast of South Africa, that produce arts & crafts, paintings, food & drinks, local jewellery and a whole collection of other local goodies, we also have live music on these fantastic nights out, usually accompanied by some karaoke from the busy crowd!<\/span><\/p>

The event takes place during season times usually on public holidays, school holidays and December holidays. Margate Beach is packed with action, lights, people and local crafters who make the evening one to remember.<\/span><\/p>

The KZN South Coast Fire Performance Team usually attends these events and performs for the heart of Margate. Providing quality entertainment to our local community and our visitors. Vendors set up in the streets of Margate while the road is closed off and people explore the market accomplished by music and live entertainment from the Fire Performance Team, and sometimes, if we are lucky enough, Belly Dancers, Clowns and other wonderful forms of entertainment!<\/span><\/p>
