Who is Fire Performers SA?

We fire perform and fire dance at various KZN South Coast Beaches weekly for our community practice sessions, where anyone can attend to learn something about Flow Arts & Object Manipulation and as well as the opportunity to join our growing team of expert Fire Performers. When we perform we dance with fire props lit on fire and we call this object manipulation. Using our high-quality fire props to create these experiences to add that dazzle or “WOW” factor to your event, birthday party, market, wedding, business function or corporate event. Public, private, business and live entertainment, we have you covered.

What Is Flow Arts & Why We Use It:

Flow Arts is a movement based dance and art form that combines various activities and skills such as martial arts, circus acts, dancing and more. It also includes the use of what we like to refer to as props, toys or equipment. Such as staffs, poi, meteor, hula hoops, dragon staff and a whole lot more. It is quite a general term used to describe the above and the interconnection of a variety of movement-based disciplines, to name a few would be dancing, juggling props, fire performance, object manipulation. It is an expressive art form. Fire Performance is an art form and a form of expression, mindfulness and fitness with a large hint of danger to it. Achieving the Flow State is a running goal for many professionals in the field, the flow state is usually the primary goal, it is a deep concentration and absorption in the activity or fire performance that leads to a heightened awareness and timelessness, a goal we are also striving to achieve throughout our performances.

Our Mission: Professionals In The Field:

Our goal is to create job opportunities for individuals around South Africa, starting in the heart of the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, we are based in Uvongo and have community practice sessions on several south coast beaches along the coastline spreading our mission and message out to our local and national communities. We aim to help not only young people such as children, pre-teens and adults. But also to cater for the older generations as well. We are working towards creating a community and organization of individuals where we have a healthier, fun, exciting and alternative lifestyle while being able to do what we love: flow arts, fire dancing, fire performances and create a living out of it, all at the exact same time. We aim to increase awareness of fire safety and introduce people to flow arts, highlighting its numerous benefits, including meditation, hand-eye coordination, body awareness and muscle memory, concentration, focus, and the flow state.

What Events Do We Cater For?

Fire Performers SA caters for a large variety of events. We can accommodate almost any goal that you have in mind, whether you are looking to hire fire performers and fire dancers for a birthday party, wedding, or engagement party. We make it personal and special for you and your loved ones. If you need live entertainment for your market, festival, business or corporate event we will have you entertained for as long as you need fire performers in the background, in intervals or as the main attraction, we’ll be that “WOW” factor to your event and venue leaving a lasting impression of what it was about, whether it be a fundraiser, loved ones special day, wedding, festival or market, we have done hundreds and look forward to being a part of yours. Making it a special, memorable and massive success.

Freestyle & Choreography:

We perform freestyle and flow naturally with what we have learned through flow arts, we combine different movements to create visually appealing, exciting and engaging interaction with crowds for any event. We prioritize safety in every situation, ensuring our guests, crowds and fire performers are safe, secure and comfortable at all times with the flame. We practice weekly to ensure our bodies are in tip-top shape to give you a show to remember. While flowing naturally and safely is a priority for us. We can also do more structured and in-sync performances, where every movement has a purpose to capture, engage and truly impress a crowd of any magnitude, function, event or festival.

Where We Have Performed:

We have performed at various venues, birthday parties, weddings, markets, fundraisers, golf courses, hotels, estates and more. Some of these examples would include our month-end performance at Serenity Hills Eco Estate in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), South Coast, Margate, where every last Friday of the month, the Sweetdale Night Market takes place, we have performed there since 2024. We also perform at KZN South Coast Margate Beach during the holiday seasons, Mardi Gras since 2023, usually during the busiest period of the holiday time, and we put on a show to remember each time. We performed at KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, San Lameer Estate, for one of Wild Coast Fitness’ functions in 2025, and we have also performed at TO Strand in Port Edward South Coast in 2021. Popeyes & La Scali in Ramsgate, KZN South Coast for a fundraiser and as well as Astron Energy Umtentweni Garage, likewise we performed at Orcas Pub & Grill in Sunwich Port, KwaZulu-Natal South Coast and even further out, such as our gig in Pietermaritzburg (PMB) for the opening of an action sports centre.
